Terms of Use

These Terms govern the use of the GymPR app and website. By creating an account or using GymPR, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who offers GymPR

GymPR is a training app that builds strength-training routines and tracks your progression. To reach us about anything in these Terms: suporte@gympr.app.

2. GymPR is not a healthcare service

Read this section carefully. It is the most important part of these Terms.

GymPR builds training suggestions from the information you provide. It is not a personal trainer, physician, physiotherapist or dietitian, and it does not replace one. Nothing in the app is a diagnosis, a treatment or a medical prescription.

• Consult a professional before you start, particularly if you have or have had a heart, respiratory or joint condition, high blood pressure, if you are pregnant or postpartum, recovering from injury or surgery, or taking continuous medication.
• The load is always your choice. GymPR suggests when to progress, never how much weight to lift. You decide the load and you take on its risk.
• Stop immediately if you feel chest pain, dizziness, abnormal shortness of breath, sharp joint pain or any unexpected symptom, and seek medical attention.
• Training with poor technique, excessive load or without a warm-up can cause injury. You are responsible for training within your limits and for knowing how to perform the movements.

You use GymPR at your own physical risk.

3. Account and eligibility

• GymPR is not directed to people under 13. Between 13 and 18, use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. Where local law sets a higher minimum age, that age applies.
• The information you provide (goal, experience, injuries, restrictions) must be accurate. The app builds your training on top of it, so wrong information produces wrong training.
• Your account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything that happens in your account.

4. Subscription, billing and cancellation

• Part of GymPR is free; the full feature set requires a subscription.
• Billing is processed by your device's store (Google Play or the App Store), together with RevenueCat. We never receive or store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in effect, until cancelled.
• Cancellation is done in the store itself, in the subscription settings of your Google or Apple account. It cannot be done from inside GymPR, because the billing does not run through us. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refunds follow the policy of the store that processed the purchase, not ours.
• Prices may change. A price change applies only to subsequent renewals and will be announced beforehand.

5. Free trial

When we offer a free period, it is available once per person and ends on the date shown in the app. When it ends, access to paid features stops. If the trial was taken with billing attached in the store, the subscription starts being charged unless it is cancelled before the end.

6. AI-generated routines

Routines, exercise substitutions and reports are generated with AI assistance from your profile. That means the result is an automated suggestion, produced without case-by-case human review, and it may contain an error or a choice that does not suit your specific situation. Assess it critically before training, and adjust or swap anything that does not make sense for you. Section 2 applies in full.

7. Acceptable use

When using GymPR, you agree not to:

• circumvent billing, the paywall, usage limits or access controls;
• access the API by automated means outside the app, scrape data, or overload the infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the exercise catalogue for redistribution;
• resell, sublicense or share your account;
• submit unlawful or offensive content, or content owned by someone else without the right to use it.

8. Intellectual property

The app, the GymPR brand, the exercise catalogue, the written content and the visual identity are ours or licensed to us. You receive a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable licence to use the app, and nothing beyond that.

What you produce inside the app (your workout records, loads and notes) remains yours. You authorise us to process that content in order to operate the service, as described in the privacy policy.

9. Your data

How personal data is handled is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these Terms. You can delete your account at any time from the account deletion page.

10. Availability, changes and termination

• The service is provided as is. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, with notice when the change is material.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice whenever possible.
• If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable advance notice, and the unused part of an active subscription will be handled under the store's policy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GymPR is not liable for injury, physical harm, data loss, lost profits or indirect damages arising from use of the app, in particular where they result from performing an exercise incorrectly, from a load you chose, or from disregarding section 2.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, nor limits consumer rights granted by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be flagged in the app or on this page, with the update date revised. Continuing to use GymPR after a change means accepting it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, where GymPR is operated. This does not remove the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, which continue to apply in full, including your right to bring a claim before your local courts where the law grants it.
